I Went On An Interview
After weeks and weeks of job searching and a recruiter helping me out- I finally did it. I had a job interview scheduled today and I've been seriously looking for a new job after working 7 years in my current job. I wanted a more professional experience. I wanted to move up in the world. Graduating from the university was great but I didn't feel like I succeeded in anything.
But today I called my recruiter and she told me that they immediately called her back! I'm absolutely shocked they would immediately get back to her so quickly after I finished my very first interview in my life! I've read article after article and been really stressing over this- I even got so detailed to the point where if I should take my jacket off or keep it with me in the interview room. It was pretty funny! I didn't think an interview could go so smoothly. It felt more like a conversation.
After the background/ credit check I'm pretty sure I'll be starting a new phase of my life. For once in my life, I really do genuinely feel I did something on my own and with my own skills/ efforts. Truly a happy day for me. I wonder if I sound a little too happy? 😜
