I Am Seeking Inner Peace

If we are to ever find inner peace then we must become independent. In order to be independent then we must give up the tribal mentality. As long as we are overly concerned with being part of the tribe and getting others to see that "our" tribe is correct then we will neglect ourselves. This will make us prime targets for the wolves that are out there hiding in sheep's clothing. When we are distracted and focused on the outside we miss what is actually happening.
It may feel fearful stepping out on a limb and doing something we haven't done before, society has conditioned us to believe that it's not a good thing. We are told that "lone wolf's" are emotionally unstable. In the wild lone wolf's are stronger then their counter parts. Society has conditioned us to believe this as it is worried about itself, it isn't concerned about individuals. So we expend far to much energy looking for a mate, trying to belong to a group etc. rather then work on our inner peace.
This doesn't mean we neglect community, and it's ok to be a part of it but we must detach from it. Help when we can but not rely on them and be wary that the goal is control. When we allow others to control us we lose our own power.
Inner peace comes from awakening and awaking comes through direct experience, not through beliefs and dogma's.
