@itjustbegan: Okay. Well I'd start by having you throw out the idea of a perfect rhyme. If you focus on what rhymes perfectly you will have a very limited template to write within. Because perfect rhymes are like cat, hat, dog, frog. Boring right? But instead you need to focus just on sound. Which seems simple but is the one thing rappers fuck up on. Take for instance a popular Rap cliche "I don't give a fuck" Most rappers would try to rhyme with the last word, which would be "fuck" ❌ That's gonna end in weak lyrics. Like: I don't give a fuck That's why my middle finger up. When if you expand your view you can make the rhyme much more vibrant. Instead of trying to rhyme with "fuck" you try to rhyme with "give a fuck". So it'd be something like: I don't [b]give a fuck[/b] I'm just gon [b]live it up[/b]. Does it PERFECTLY rhyme? No. But the sounds match. There's an short i, short a and short u in both sets of words. As I bolded. And if you're feeling extra brave you can attempt a quintuple rhyme. Adding the " I don't" into the mix. Making your new goal to rhyme the complete phrase "I don't give a fuck" So it's kind of like a puzzle. You just need to find the right sounds. I don't give a fuck. Which you could rhyme "I'm gon live it up" If you use the slang for gonna, the short "gon" pronounced with a long o it matches the long o in don't. Or something like [b]I don't give a fuck Rhymes like hit n run[/b]. I matches rhyme. Give matches hit. And fuck matches run.
