DO you like the Company of an extrovert?

Or do you find them annoying.

It depends on the extrovert. Some of them, I can discuss anything and have an intimate conversation with. Some of them (Esp enfjs), I find empty and shallow because they just want social interaction and feeling included regardless of what is being discussed- not saying they are shallow but from my perspective this is how it feels.

Sometimes I think people talk just cause they like the sound of themselves talking. Lol.

Or they'll just jump into any conversation and say anything just to stay relevant. For me, if you have to try so hard to stay relevant, it's not a conversation I find worth having.

I do have a friend like how you described though. She doesn't understand that others aren't as interested in what she has to say as she is and thinks everyone's just dying to hear the sound of her voice.

some extroverts are fun, but some are annoying

Most of my friends are extroverts, so yeah, I do. It balances out my own introverted nature.
For a while I really enjoy them. But then I have to go back to my cave and get back to being me again.

Some extroverts know what to say and how to say it... others don't.
So I guess it depends.

Tell me what you mean by "they know what to say and some don't"
Aprism · F
They lift me up when I am feeling down, for that reason yes.

I like their company but they can definitely be exhausting.
Southernpride · 46-50, F
Only the ones that are extreme extrovert can be annoying.

I like them in reasonable doses. Too much makes me a little crazy.

Small doses, please

Annoying...
My two closest friends are both extroverts (which I tend to attract in general). Most of the time it's lots of fun being around them, but it can be draining and I eventually have to go recharge. I love them both, however.

other extroverts don't feel drained..WE feel re-charged :>
@Fernie: I know, that's the difference. They don't always understand when I need to withdraw a bit.

@bijouxbroussard: I do though. I am sometimes "too much" for some folks. I like that better than not being enough. (I do not mean you are not enough!)
