The 2022 Winter Olympics are almost here and it's time for another Olympic athlete. This time it's Mikaela Shiffrin, an American skier who has been a superstar!
Mikaela is a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist in alpine skiing. She is a three-time Overall World Cup champion, a four-time world champion and a six-time winner of the World Cup discipline title in slalom. She was also the youngest slalom champion in Olympic alpine skiing history, at 18 years and 345 days.
She is also the first and only athlete—male or female—with wins in all six FIS Alpine Ski World Cup disciplines: slalom, parallel slalom, giant slalom, super-G, downhill, and alpine combined.
In 2021 Mikaela won gold in the combined at the World Championships and already in 2022 she has won four times! She is beautiful and strong and really someone to watch in the Winter Olympics!!!!
@TexChik Maybe so but I want athletes like Mikaela to be able to compete. They just should've never been allowed to be held in China in the first place.
