The Italian is a great athlete and personality… very special to watch

Kinda confusing if you ask me. I didn't know it was possible for competing athletes to share gold, according to the Olympic regulations. There was no silver medal given for that competition (Just 🥇🥇 + 🥉 ) and I wonder if both national anthems were played. Still, it was a beautiful moment. Both men cried like lil babies.

@SW-User I did not know it either, but at least in high-jump it may happen under if both athletes have taken the same amount of attempts, and both agree.

I see. I was going to say they could’ve donate the🥈to my “medalless” country but we just got our first medal today, and it happened to be gold 😀@Cierzo

That was lovely to watch yesterday. One athlete adked the offical...'is it possible for 2 gold medals?' and he said, 'its possible'.
The althlete looked at this competetor with raised eyebrows and the joy was just amazing to see!! Both of them so happy....was realy heartwarming. X

@Cierzo interesting you say that because I never heard of this broadcasted either and I have been watching a lot of olympics this time round.
It would be nice if our media shares this inspeirational stuff but it doesn’t usually. Only on morning DWS when kids are awake and mums getting them ready for school pretty much. Never on the 6:00
