No one was writing the Bible as Noah floated away. The Bible - a collection of books from centuries of time - is an account, not a history book. It is an origin story, a creation myth. It.is.not.science. There are thousands of years between creation and Jesus and that's according to the Bible.
Tell me you follow all the laws and commandments contained within the Bible, and you can be heard as an expert on it. Show me you live your life without contradiction of traditions, laws, times, covenants, etc. Then you can explain how the Bible, written before the Age of Reason had yet dawned on man, is a compendium of physical laws and theorems. Explain to me the scientific process, using its definitions correctly, and then illustrate the find examples of research as offered in the Bible. Then you can claim the Bible is true.

Evolution has no history in a six thousand years existence of biblical mythology. However, the Earth is over four billion years old. Evolution's history has been non-stop and ongoing. With an unlimited future throughout the universe.

@LadyGrace Amen, sister. Jesus is the one that has given me this knowledge. For so long, non- believers claim that the historical events in the Word of God are myths, yet do not have any historical documents of their own to support their claims.

Approximately 2,500 prophecies appear in the pages of the Bible, about 2,000 of which already have been fulfilled to the letter—no errors. The remaining 500 or so, reach into the future and shall unfold as days go by. Remember the Blood Moons? That was God, too.

Considering that no one know who wrote the Bible, nor exactly when it was written EXCEPT that it wasn't written by anyone actually there at the time of the purported happenings, kind of hard to take seriously.

@GodSpeed63 Simple. Genesis doesn’t mention one thing about the Big Bang. The universe was created first, Earth formed afterwards. The bible didn’t even know it happened.
I understand we know from scientific evidence that the human species has been here for tens of thousands of years.
One explanation the only globally prominent historical written documentation is the bibical scriptures would at the very least dislodge it as an impediment to understanding why.
