The Bible, as a product of that time, reads like it’s mythology and fiction. Supernatural statements and superior beings are at the core. Humans in all mythology are portrayed weak and trivial. The non-human characters are usually created immortal. It’s obvious angels were also made in God’s image. Lucky us that we must work our way through obstacles and jump flaming hoops. Just to attain a small chance of an immortal afterlife.
