1 Peter 2:21-25

21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for [e]us, leaving [f]us an example, that you should follow His steps:

22
“Who committed no sin,
Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;

23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; 24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose [g]stripes you were healed. 25 For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and [h]Overseer of your souls.

The Word Of God.
He volunteered himself to the cross without saying anything in his defense, not one word, like a lamb walking slowly and humbly to the slaughter, only because that's how much He loves us....to go to even the length of death, in order to save us from hell.

God is fair. Sin is not. Sin brings all to condemnation, that unless it is forgiven, keeps us separated from God, until we ask to be saved. How sad that after all that torment Jesus went through so we could be saved, some don't WANT to be rescued. To do nothing and leave our soul to chance, ends us up in hell...the very place God wants to save us from. That's strictly our choice...not God's. He turns no one away. And if we want nothing to do with that, he will honor our decision.
