I feel especially lucky this early morning.

Sure, it would have been great had I put in the four team parlay that I recommended to someone on Friday...two hundred dollars would have won eight thousand.
That would have been absolutely great.
But that's not what's making me grateful this morning.

I nearly came head to head with a car traveling in the wrong direction on a major parkway this morning.
The experience probably lasted somewhere around 4 to five seconds.
I can see how tragically nonavoidable these accidents can be. It happened so quick, and my brain couldn't fully fathom the complexity of it.
Had I been just one lane over, I would have been struck, head on.
I probably would have died.
