[15] Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
[16] Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
[17] Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
[18] A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
[19] Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
[20] Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Matt 7

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Those with corrupt hearts will issue forth speech that sows corruption. Those who sow to the flesh shall reap corruption, and those who sow to the Spirit shall reap eternal life. We will know immediately when they open their mouths that they are false prophets by the fruit that they bear.

@Agent may not be able to see the "fruits" they produce, immediately.

If anyone is wondering what a false teacher is, look no further than any televangelist. Joel Osteen, Peter Popoff, Robert Tilton, Benny Hinn, and many others.

They are the ones with megachurches, they want to send you free miracle spring water or oil, claim to be healers.

Just watch a minute or two of any of them on youtube. It is a joke.
Oh trust me they ARE working for a supernatural being, but it isn't Jesus.
19 They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity—for “people are slaves to whatever has mastered them.”

That's the indicator in what you put up.. that's the indicator of their folly.

The word mastered.

See, people are highly confused and divided on , what is godly, then they think they know, because a pastor said so.

I want to point out that, there is no point in time in any of the prophets lives or jesus himself or the apostles after him, where it states or implies that they had a ministerial degree , that they paid cash for to be educated for, to run a church business; on the contrary, it states of the apostles " for they knew that these men were unlearned, but had been with jesus(the living word)"

You have to look at the original teacher these days, you cannot look to the pastor for the truth. Hes running a business, jesus was running a spiritual lifestyle of harmony with what God created.

Back to the word " Mastered".

Jesus " no man can serve two masters, you cannot serve God and Money"

That one word from him, disqualifies 99 percent of the pastors that exist.

" godliness is not a means for gains" also " but godliness with contentment is huge gain" also " with food and clothing, we shall be content" also " a good soldier does not entangle himself with the affairs of this world" add all that together, and realize that pastors are harvesting money for a paycheck(a mark) so they can afford this lifes affairs, houses, cars, wives, lands, etc.

Those are the very things jesus said people used as excuses to not enter heaven, in the parable of the wedding feast that is ready.

There are many other teachings of jesus where i can point out that today's teachers clearly deviate from the original teacher; but I will not list them all..

I gave you the one major point of deviation.. the pastors of today are MASTERED by money(mark) and it's obvious because they preach the acceptance of it, when christ said you could not accept it and God.

So then, listen to your pastors and keep in mind the actual words of jesus, if they dont align with each other, it isnt Jesus who lied..

@CarazaaThe young huy from USA John Allen Chau got inspired by this verse and searched to find if any people group living without knowing Jesus. He came all the way to a remote island in Andamans. He was killed a martyr for his mission.

@fellowchristian Yes, I read about that!

Anyone who preaches any other “jesus” than the Jesus of the bible is a false teachers.

It's easy to be swayed by charismatic preachers. They try to trick people with lies so clever that they sound like the truth. They preach such false gospels as the "prosperity gospel", the "faith only gospel", the "feel good gospel”, or the “optional Jesus gospel”.
Those who aren't rooted in God’s word will be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching.

Any soldier in combat knows that the most important thing they have is their gun. Their life depends on it. They are taught to know every part of that gun. They are taught to break it down to its basic components and then put it back together quickly in any situation. They don’t just look at it once or twice and expect to somehow know all about it. No, they constantly review it. They go to the range regularly so they not only know how to fire it, but to precisely hit their target nearly every time.

The weapon we have against false teachers is the bible – our “Sword”. We are always in a combat situation (fighting a war). Our lives (our very souls) depend on our weapon. Like any good soldier, we need to know our “weapon” thoroughly; otherwise, we will be overtaken by the enemy. Our enemy is slick, and without our Sword, we’re just sitting ducks. “I like that teaching, it makes me feel good inside. I'll follow it.” “That person’s teaching is so religious sounding; it just HAS to be truth.”

@Carazaa
I don't ever get scammed because I know the truth.
LOL! You're already a victim of a scam if you think the bible is the truth. You fell for it hook, line, and sinker.
Carazaa · F
@Sharon Gods word has been good to me!🙏

@Carazaa That what you think but that's how scams work. The scammer deceives you into believing you're benefiting. Looks like they've done a very good job on you.

Actually, I have an email here from a lady who's dying of cancer. She has a lot of money she wants distributed to worthy cause and seeks a good christian person to do it. It seem she thinks I'm such a person but, as I think is clear, I'm not a christian by any stretch of the imagination. You would seem to fit the bill though so should I ask her to contact you to make arrangements?

I don't mean to say anything bad about anyone but the church I attend now believes in God the Father, the son Jesus and Holy Spirit but some of their teachings I don't agree with them. I feel like I'm not learning much here cause each Sunday I'm left confused. It's like they fear covit more than they fear God, like they trust the government more than they trust God but then again it's not my place to judge. It's one of those old denominations and I pray God takes me to a church that is not religious but godly. I wish I had a choice what church to attend but if you live in someone's house you have to follow their rules. Sundays have become a chore, I'm only attending just to attend nothing else😑.
Lichocolati · 31-35, F
@fellowchristian I know they are human beings but if I'm going to be a part of a church I want to be able to relate and to be honest I don't relate to this particular group. They talk like the people of this world not spirit filled people even in church which is disturbing because we go to church to learn about walking in the spirit not the flesh. I contribute as much as I can especially during Bible study but at times I feel judged firstly because I think they overlook what I say because I'm in a wheelchair and secondly because I'm not married like all the ladies my age. It really sucks and I just want to be out of there cause I don't feel like I'm growing.
Carazaa · F
@Lichocolati Sounds like you are more mature, and growing more than they, and also they aren't very caring. Being loving is one of the fruits of the spirit.
shuhak · M
@Lichocolati God will answer your prayer, but in His perfect timing. Perhaps He isn't finished with you where you are right now. Perhaps the trials you are going through now are strengthening you for something He has planned later. It hard for us to understand as we can only see this moment, while God sees all moments at once - past, present and future. We have to trust Him (through faith) that His way is best... even if it is painful for us.

@SW-User Yes I read my own Bible and pray for wisdom! That's right.
fellowchristian · 70-79, M
@SW-User How about you?
Read the Bible as the Ethiopian Eunuch read Bible.
He asked Philip, if these verses telling of me or of someone else.
Apply this question to the Bible portion you read. That statesman from Ethiopia didn't think, let alone he be the interpreter. Try to discern the man next to you with the Word of God is sent by Lord. Then listen to him. The Ethiopian man got convinced, the word he was reading was telling of someone Philip introduced and he also got convinced, the word is meant for him.
