Is the presence of junk/redundant DNA in the genomes of animals better explained by evolution or by creationism? [Spirituality & Religion]

I know from an evolution perspective we would expect to see this redundancy where it wasn't deleterious to the fitness of the organism. Over time, an organism is going to accumulate a bunch of genes that aren't used or are no longer active.
Simple.

But how does the creationist explain it? Why would a god include junk DNA, huge sections of which can be removed without significant harm to the organism?

Waiting for godspeed to show up and ask "According to who?"
@Sharon

How dare you! What reasons has he given us over and over and over and over to think he'll produce anything less than a well-reasoned, cogent counter argument?!
@Frank52

lol well true, it can get to feel like that. They key is to stop when it stops being fun.

@Pikachu OK, I concede. :(

God got hammered, and threw up in the mix.

@QuixoticSoul That would explain the Platypus.
@QuixoticSoul

Just a way of using up the leftovers.

They can't cover in any book what they had no equivalent. 🤷‍♂️

If they could they would have an equivalent for a computer much less a cellphone. Or even any future humanoid robots.
@DeWayfarer

Ok i think i know what you're saying. There's no instruction on it in the bible so they don't have an answer for it?

@Pikachu 👌😊
@DeWayfarer

Yes unfortunately the bible doesn't have a lot to say about modern science lol. But there are still YEC who try to make creationism scientific.

I think it's evidence we have a mad scientist as God who is using humanity and animals for experimentation. Eventually we'll go back to our true state of HR Giger's version of Alien.
@SatanBurger

lol well at least a god who isn't infallible.
More likely just a member of an advanced alien race.

You need to get yourself a date
@Thevy29
