@fairefoutre We must be careful not to confuse those who are not familiar with God. Yes, we have the Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I am just saying that we pray to Jesus to forgive us of our sins so that we can have access/fellowship with God the Father. So it does matter in that sense, who we pray to. The Father cannot hear the prayers of unbelievers, except through the mediation of Christ. Why do you think He came?

@fairefoutre Then if what you say is a true, Jesus would have died in vain. One clearly cannot have access to God the Father except through Jesus, our High Priest. Further, our sins separate us from God the Father. He is Holy, and cannot even look on sin. If there was sin in heaven, then it wouldn't [u]be[/u] heaven.
