Losing followers!

Some people are shy. I know as a man i'll never message a woman first, when you do they think oh another perv and they may give you a trial run. 🙄
No, tired of that, people can message me if they want but Im not messageing anyone first, especially women.

Personally and for the most part, I let others add me.

It's only when I have had a lot of interaction that I might add others. And even then I have had at least six months of interaction.

This last has happened mostly with the last couple of months because my feed was dead slow without adding those that I have mentioned.

PMs I also rarely initiate.

This is especially true with women. For the most part 80% are far younger than me. I don't want to appear as being a creep. Though some may take my profile as somewhat being a creep.

At least I'm honest in my profile. With lots of stuff about me.

Expectation can be an issue. People follow people for many different reasons. I've gained many followers over the years I've been here but I don't expect much from them considering the fact that I don't follow anybody back 😅

Very true. However ive also found that while I start conversations it isnt reciprocated to any degree. Sometimes just one word answers. It takes 2. and its only a few that we eventually keep up with.

You point is well taken and a sad truth. But i think most people are swayed and understand that is life on the internet mainly.... i am sure other sites are different ..maybe ... idont know as i dont use other sites besides this

Well as a Man i do my best to avoid any private messaging to Woman.. In this woke, Me Too western world it is way to dangerous for guys.. Only if i have read a woman posts and i think she is a noble person do i ever try a organize a private message conversation.. I think since the time being here i have only had 2 woman in a one on one conversation..

One of the woman was from India and the other one was in Africa.. So neither of them where western woman 👍 So that made me feel safer. 😊

I hardly even know who my followers are or who is on my friend list. I just talked to people as I come by them on the forum. Yeah there's a few that I might make a special effort to interact with but mostly I just scroll the main feed until something looks interesting
