Wall phobia???!!!! Why

My husband has a wall phobia. He doesn't like me hanging things up on the wall in my quiet/ Meditation room.
Granted this house was completely refurbished when we bought it I want at least a couple of pics.
He was this way in the last house too... Holes and such in the wall WTF
