No. I follow people if I like them and their posts. If they follow me back, great, but it’s not a personal necessity for me.

following historically has meant that someone will no longer interact with me. and it doesn't seem to be useful any longer for narrowing the feed or bringing in the sorts of things or posts i want to see so i don't follow anyone and i don't let anyone follow me.
