@PoeticPlay I think when someone resorts to bragging about their so called attributes, it is because they do not have those attributes at all. I don't believe those actions are for any other reason ever. That does not say people can't change or grow up, but at the time, for me that behavior is a 100% absolute. I am not fooling myself in any way. Not everyone believes the same.

@AlchemyFox The most dishonest and deceitful people I've ever known have bragged and bragged about their honesty - of which they had absolutely zero. If someone is honest - it will show. They don't walk around trying to convince everyone by saying it over and over.
