Why do a lot of people dislike blunt and honest people?

I mean do you really wanna make dolls of of yourselves by surrounding yourself by people that always sugarcoats shit and always agree with you? You’ll end up screwed up. Those people don’t really give a shit about you. They don’t care enough to tell you the ugly truth.
People that are blunt, honest and tell you to get your shit together are the kind of people you should surround yourself to. They give a shit and care about you the most, even if you may think they sound “mean”. I mean use tact and be respectful and kind. I’m a blunt person that calls it as it is and care enough to tell you if you’re being an idiot and get yourself together.
