Yes I support marriage equality [and for all the braindead people trying to distort this post] among consenting legally adult people, no matter their sex or gender.
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
You have phrased the commentary in a most undemocratic way.
I am not speaking of countries that do not have a democratic framework.
Marriage equality exists in some countries because of a democratic process. It doesn't exist in some countries because of a democratic process.
Just because it is supported in some countries doe not mean that everyone supports it. Just because it is not supported in some countries does not mean that nobody supports it.
To equate recognition of queer love to marriage equality is to say that one of the steps along the way in most democracies, the decriminalisation of homosexuality, was a non-event. Many people were persecuted on the road to that step and you dishonour them by not recognising it.

@Zeusdelight congratulations, you spoke words without sounding like an utter knob with all the needless flourishing speech.
Do you think just because a majority votes for something that violates the autonomy of another human being, that should be law?

@basilfawlty89 When you choose to respond without your silly name calls or ridiculous explanations for your comments, I'll continue.
But it seems as if you have gone into not understanding or just misinterpreting my comments again.

@Zeusdelight then learn to explain yourself properly in the first place. Brevity is the soul of wit.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
Fully and whole heartedly.
I've seen first hand what homophobia can do, I nearly lost my best friend to suicide thanks to it. You could chalk me up as militantly Pro-LGBT.

At the end of the day marriage is a binding, legal contract. Period. Love, religion, family, etc. has NOTHING to do with that business contract. Those against it are on the wrong side of history, the wrong side of the law, the wrong side of freedom and the wrong side of security in who they are.
Rainandforest · 22-25, F
No
FragileHeart · 22-25, M
@Rainandforest Why?
BackyardShaman · 61-69, M
I fully support it, live and let live and it has no negative effect on me. If anything it has a positive effect since more people are happy around me.
Cosmicmicrowave · 18-21, M
@BackyardShaman yes this is exactly the stuff that makes me proud
Piper · 61-69, F
Yes, I support two consenting human adults who are not 'immediate' blood related family being able to legally marry. :)
I’m in one with my wife, so I support it.
Torsten · 36-40, M
I dont support marriage in general. its a joke nowadays. Men have nothing to gain from it.
If gay people wanna be miserable like most married couples, more power to them.
I will say, the best wedding i have ever attended was a gay wedding.
My brother and his husband went all out for that shit

I support same sex marriage. A cousin has been married to another lady for years and it seems to work well. Two of my daughters friends are married, and I enjoy being with them occasionally.
hunkalove · 61-69, M
Marriage is a legal agreement. It shouldn't have anything to do with religion or politics. Of course, I say that as someone smart enough to never have been married.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
I don't care if 2 people want to marry. It's their choice. Everyone should mind their own business.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@MrBrownstone This. 100x this.
redredred · M
Yes, gay folks should be just as miserable as straight people.
Cosmicmicrowave · 18-21, M
@redredred is this a joke
redredred · M
@Cosmicmicrowave no, it’s bitter experience
Cosmicmicrowave · 18-21, M
@redredred Hmmm ig I have better ex
Cosmicmicrowave · 18-21, M
I support this, why should gender restrict who you want to be with?
Adogslife · 61-69, M
I’d support sexual, racial and religious equality. I’m not a big fan of special privileges because of, or related to, the above.
I also believe these rights should be federal, tied in with tax filings, medical insurance, social security and death benefits.
The sex of the parties should be invisible to the law.

Disgustedman · 61-69, M
Haven't seen or heard anyone trying to stop gay marriage in the USA. I think you're fretting about something that's not going to happen just leave the cake alone. ;)
Disgustedman · 61-69, M
@pillowprincess so you've got an issue with my opinion you know what you can do......
FragileHeart · 22-25, M
Ynotisay · M
@Disgustedman Do you think Biden signing the Respect for Marriage Act late last year has anything to do with it? Maybe even having to sign it says there was a BIG push to ban it? I do.
AtticEscapee · F
Does "marriage equality" include pets, animals and children?

AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M

Caballero · 31-35, M
Absolutely not gays are gross.
SW-User
@Caballero then don't marry another man
@Caballero especially in cereal. Like wtf? Am I right?
Dan193 · 31-35, M
Also marrying objects
Noooooo! If two men get married anywhere in the entire world, it will completely invalidate every heterosexual marriage on the entire planet! Don't ask me how, that's logic, and my brain doesn't work that way!
