Am I actually schizophrenic or was my drink laced?

I never had a schizophrenic episode in my life until some guy bought me a drink and hours later I started seeing things and could not sleep, I would see scary looking things in walls like demons and in people.. when I would scratch my arm the feeling would be delayed and wouldn't show up until seconds later and when people would talk the words would be delayed with their mouths. The tv would also talk to me and this was literally after I had a drink from some stranger. ( first time it wasn’t even alcohol it was a regular drink ) This “episode“happened for months until my parents realized they couldn’t do anything. I called the police the same night and they tested my blood for drugs and said nothing was found in my system, I was just paranoid. Then, eventually I had to go to the mental hospital because I couldn't sleep for months even when I tried to. This happened in 2018, no schizophrenics in my family or nothing. Now in 2020 back in June the same thing happened some guy bought me a drink , my friend drank out of it as well and nothing happened to her ( I swear I had felt a pill ) and I had another episode and had to go to the mental institution because I wasn't in my right mind, seeing and hearing things again. They said I had psychosis and schizophrenia, do you think they put something in my drink or am I actually schizophrenic because I never experienced this ever, the first time it happened I was 19 and second I was 21 , this only happened after I had been given drinks.

[c=#666666]Please disregard my first reply, I didn't read your story through. Now I did so. Yes, I think you might have a mental health issue. It's nothing to be ashamed of, or scared of. If that is the case, then you might need to take some medication, but it doesn't mean that you can't achieve your goals in life. Things might become a bit more difficult, but trust your nurses and doctors, and I think you will be perfectly fine. ❤️ [/c]

[c=#666666]He probably spiked your drink. I got hallucinations from pure weed, some people are more likely to experience psychosis than others.[/c]
@Sheer holy shit he put the reefers in her beverage?! Terrible, just terrible.

[c=#666666]@Rasputia Possibly. If it's a mental health issue, a drug could have triggered it I think. It sounds that way to me, but I am not at all an expert on this. She needs to talk this over with people who actually understand psychiatry I guess.[/c]

if you never had episodes until you had the drinks then the drinks were spiked/laced with something

@Lifeismystery I couldn’t sleep for months at all to the point I had to be admitted to the hospital and they gave me medicine to help my hallucinations and delusions I thought I was dead in hell because when I would look at people their faces would turn to monsters or demons and sharp pointy ears
