i usually donate to the british heart foundation, ageuk and barnardo's, and animal charity's too.

Kiva.org. A global microfinance operation that offers people a hand up, rather than a handout. I often stand a new loan instead of sending flowers to a funeral. And once the loan is repaid you get to choose someone else to lend the same cash to.😷
