@Theyitis internet IQ tests are not real and all scores are bogus

@Elevatorpitches I think some internet IQ tests are more bogus than others, although I know no internet tests are officially recognized. Anyway, I took one administered by a university that was used to qualify me for special learning services in college, and if memory serves that one had me at 145. I was also tested at school in both second grade and third grade to determine whether or not I qualified for gifted classes. In second grade I did not qualify, but when I tested again in third grade I did qualify. They weren’t allowed to tell me my score either time, but the cutoff was 132.

@bijouxbroussard Your IQ doesn’t change during your life, so if you took the test when you were a little kid that score is still valid.

@Subsumedpat if it was an internet test its meaningless

@Subsumedpat 100 is average, but I don’t know that any score is necessarily “good” or “bad”. There are advantages and disadvantages to any IQ score, and there’s nothing (other than severe head injuries) you can do in life to significantly change your IQ one way or the other.

@Elevatorpitches I have been tested 3 times over the years.....military....MENSA test exam for membership and in college......148 twice...149 once. According to the sources that tested me a 1-2 variation is common. More than that...not so much.
