At what age would I be considered the disappointment of the family who shows up to events drunk?

I watched a friend graduate college and get a job right away, another got engaged, another announce a pregency, and I'm ... I have a dog? And I'm an artist? 😬

If you don't like to go to events then don't go.
Don't show up drunk to family events , unless your goal is to annoy them.

If you're really happy being an artist and able to earn money with it , then that's enough.
Don't care much about what's others think.

My parents are the kind that aren't happy unless their children are studying a medical degree or something similar.
The arts is not for them.
