Do most men on here dress in women's clothing?

You guys are everywhere on this site now it would seem with very few men who dont dress up as women
never thought that men dressing as men would be the uncommon 🤣

brings me to another question but is masculinity slowly becoming a thing of the past?
RebelFox · 36-40, F
I see that we all have masculine and feminine energy, all different people, all different life experiences. So how that translates is different for everyone. Masculine doesn’t just look one way, nor does feminine.

Truth is I think I’m wasting my breath because you’re just kinnnddaaa trolling and trying to pick at people. People like you balance chaos and peace, I guess, or perhaps you’re simply ignorant to your own freedoms and desires and think so little of yourself you have to insult others for being weird. Which we’re all weird hun. I accept you as an internet troll trying to spread hate and contempt. You are chaos. I’m kind of chaotic myself, except I don’t insult anyone for their life choices. I have no right, just as I can’t control them, I can accept it and it’s all good, or I can create friction as you have, out of insecurity. You think we don’t see, but your posts are incredibly insecure 😆 you just don’t see because you’re trapped in the normal cage. I wish you all the best.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@Paladin you can be canceled for blinking in the direction of people these days. I will take my chances though 🤣
JestAJester · 31-35, M
@Torsten
i'm not wasting my breath
she sure is wasting a lot of breath for not wasting breath.

Masculine and feminity translate differently for each person. Thats like saying woman can mean something different for each person.

Then she tells you not to label her or put words in your mouth but proceeds in packaging and labeling your own personality and mindset.

She also claims not to understand men or masculinity but has a very vivid opinion on the matter.

On another note, if a man is sensitive especially on this topic that is his problem. If he is offended or hurt, that is his problem. Also that is not a masculine trait. No i dont typically care what people do but the crossdressers here are unusually outspoken and proud of their crossdressing posts so obviously they're not embarrassed or ashamed.

Now where Torsten and I differ, I honestly think its sad, that masculinity is dying out. I will never look at a feminine man the same way I do at a masculine man. I do not like feminine men, its weird and uncomfortable. You can comment on how "oh maybe you're just uncomfortable in your own sexuality blah blah blah" which is the common in response, but no. Overly feminine men is just plain weird

2022 everyone, if your opinion doesn't meet their agenda, you're wrong
Bang5luts · M
@RebelFox well said
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
Well perhaps a social media site where you can remain anonymous is an ideal forum for 'men who dress up as women' to express themselves and share ideas 🙂

Masculinity and femininity are constantly evolving. If they don't, they almost certainly will become relics of the past.

Btw, I'm wearing jeans and a check shirt this morning, because they are more practical for painting the fence than my summer dress. Hope that's ok with you 😉
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
@Torsten Yep, I know 🙄

Learn needlework or find someone who can adjust regular clothes for unusual sizes. I've been doing my own for years so I don't have to rely upon the children's section 🙂

As for shoes, there is a British film called Kinky Boots which is all about the owner of an independent shoe manufacturer who was inspired to turn around his company's fortunes by the special requirements of a man with size 12 feet . .
Torsten · 36-40, M
@SunshineGirl I am too lazy for needlework haha.
My choice of clothes are not expensive, so I am good with buying them.

I have seen that movie, was pretty good
wildbill83 · 41-45, M

[image/video deleted]

Yeah, what's wrong with them....*scratches imaginary balls*
pride49 · 31-35, M
Hopefully it is. Along with stereotypical femininity. It's all a generalization brought up by religion, social expectations yada yada. I wear a shirt and shorts, or jeans. Nothing fancy. And I'm not flamboyant at all and I like dudes. Tell me. Is the way I'm dressing wrong ?🤨
pride49 · 31-35, M
@Torsten why did you pick that...to explicitly talk about? I was using it as another random reference.. meh whatevs
Torsten · 36-40, M
@pride49 because i thought it was odd you mentioned it
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
@pride49
Testosterone and estrogen should have no bearing on what you wear or how you act

However, personality/mindset does affect testosterone & estrogen production, it's scientific/medical fact
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
I think I would throw up if a man made a pass at me wearing a skirt. That’s just me.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@Keepitsimple cant disagree with you there
Magenta · F
@Keepitsimple Ditto.
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@Keepitsimple I get plenty of compliments from women when I am dressed fem.
Carissimi · F
Seems to be. By the way, don’t let those with a Woke mentality put you off asking questions. You have a right to ask what you want. We have, unfortunately, an increasing hypersensitive membership, who think there is only one way to be, and its there way.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@Carissimi I dont think anyone could put me off asking things I want but thank you. I agree with you very much
Ontheroad · M
Masculinity = social expectations of being a man: The term 'masculinity' refers to the roles, behaviors and attributes that are considered appropriate for boys and men in a given society. Masculinity is constructed and defined socially, historically and politically, rather than being biologically driven.

No, it isn't becoming a thing of the past, it is, as mankind always does, evolving.
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
@Ontheroad

Cogito, ergo sum (I think, therefore I am)

Masculinity is biologically intrinsic. That's scientific/medical fact. Men who don't act like men lose masculine traits and experience testosterone deficiency
Ontheroad · M
@wildbill83 I'm not going to get into a political or religious argument. Be a neanderthal, who cares.
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
@Ontheroad I said nothing about politics or religion. But people who turn every debate into one is a clear sign of insecurity... 🤔
Repete · 61-69, M
Just a question , do you think clothes make the person feminine or masculine? Or is it the person that shows what side they want to display.
I think anyone should be able to wear what clothes they like, it’s their style or tastes . My opinion is a man wearing a dress can still be the man just the same as a woman wearing pants can still be the lady. Again that’s just my opinion
Torsten · 36-40, M
@Repete I think clothes certainly can portray masculinity and femininity. I dont see a man in a dress and think masculine. I think attitude also can portray it.
A man wearing a dress is still a man of course and vice versa but that is different from being masculine or feminine
Repete · 61-69, M
There’s been men in kilts for a very long time and I’m not sure if I would want to challenge their masculinity. A kilt is not a skirt or dress but to many looks about the same. Attitude sometimes you don’t see until you talk to the person.
The clothes may portray a person in a certain way because of how we were brought up but we put way to many labels on our preconceptions. Again that’s just my opinion.@Torsten
Casheyane · 31-35, F
People have different opinions about it. People think it's kind to just accept people as they are.
Dressing is a concept that one can try to play with fot free style. Some dads play dress up to see smiles on their little girls' faces when they play tea parties.
But society accepting the wrong as right, going against design and then attacking those who do not feel or think the same way, they can shove it.
People have their free choices. But we don't have to agree with anything if we don't really believe in it.
Repete · 61-69, M
Agreed ,you have your free choice also. One thing and this is just my opinion but I think it’s more than kind to accept people as they are, it’s really respect. You may not agree with them , you may not even want to be around them but they are who they are just like you.@Casheyane
brings me to another question but is masculinity slowly becoming a thing of the past?

Nope, it's just changing like it always has. It used to be the norm for boys to wear dresses. At some point, it'll probably come back into fashion.

In related news, I look amazing in a schoolgirl uniform.
@Torsten It was the norm in America from the 16th century to the early 20th century.

Fun fact, there are pictures on the interwebs of FDR in a dress as a child.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@BohemianBabe well that does not surprise me about America in the slightest and maybe it is slowly becoming the "norm" there again
@Torsten Let's hope so. We need more femboys.

It was also common in parts of Europe. Seems like it was generally a western thing.
TexChik · F
Real men? Nope. Although, when my hubby lost a rare football bet with me once, he had to let me paint his toenails with my school colors and leave it for a week. OMGosh I thought he was going to cut them off! 🤣
Torsten · 36-40, M
@TexChik fingernails?

sorry just re read toenails. My bad
ehh thats not overly bad, just wear socks all the time haha
Magenta · F
is masculinity slowly becoming a thing of the past?
The further decline of society.

No, I know many masculine men true to who they are and were made to be, in RL.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@Magenta knowing masculine men does not mean masculinity is diminishing
Magenta · F
@Torsten I know, that's what I'm saying.

But there are some things I won't accept and I don't have to, just because it's some new modern fad or some such.
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
Call me odd but I've been on here for years without ever wanting to try out lingerie.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@PhilDeep I will call you weird for that, especially on here 🤣

nah I am with you there mate
Magenta · F
@PhilDeep 😄Thank God for that! ;-)
JestAJester · 31-35, M
If you live in America, you can dress however you want, that is your right. But I can also have an opinion on anything I want because that is also my right. Men do not belong in dresses and short shorts. I will not associate with such men. You dont have to be a macho macho man with a 4 foot ZZ Top beard, rippling muscles and a voice deeper than James Earl Jones. But when you put makeup on, a summer dress and talking like you have a slur, you're not quite a man or a woman
Torsten · 36-40, M
@JestAJester funny you mention the slur. Not many ever mention that. That is one thing I dislike about some gay men. I dont care that they are attracted to other men or anything like that but why on earth do they have to fake a lisp or slur? haha.
You can dress how you please just as you said but you cant control how society treats you and if you dress outside of the norm, you become so much a outcast. Which is fine but if you cant handle that, maybe rethink what you're doing.
Just my thoughts anyway
Glassysky · 26-30, M
Fucking Trannies man.
Mental illness is spreading.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@Glassysky i wouldn't call dressing up in female clothes a mental illness but whatever
Glassysky · 26-30, M
@Torsten Men in the West losing all masculinty to the point of being homos or trannies is indeed a mental illness mate. Its a shame our society, promotes this.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@Glassysky I somewhat agree about men losing masculinity to a point but you lost me with the homosexuality part considering you cant really push anyone into being that way

Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
No

yes, women hold the power in society and now it's adapt or die
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@BohemianBabe because you're not after it, it's established. I thought I was being charitable by saying you at least get something out of it. If you prefer we can just say your simping is for no reason though but that's just sad.

Abortion isn't a man or woman thing. Plenty of men like abortions, plenty of women hate them. Assuming it is, that's your mistake.
@Jackaloftheazuresand But women disproportionately support abortion.

Nobody has to simp to get laid. You think you do and that's how you explain being an incel.
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@BohemianBabe and yet that has never determined anything

chahaha I never said that. You're the only one here concerned with sex my friend, it was obvious from the beginning that you are here to "defend wahmen" and one can't make an ideological statement on where power lies without you getting in a coil and calling people incels for it as if that's the only way someone could come to this conclusion.
That's what woke culture causes. It's pretty gross
Snuffy1957 · 61-69, M
Not all of us... when I dress I dress as the man i am...
😆I will never wear a dress.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@UnderLockDown never say never 🤣
@Torsten 😆Never, never, never.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Really? I see more men that don't dress women's clothes than those who do. Seems like we have different people in the feed. 🤔
Either way, I don't believe clothes can make someone more feminine or masculine. It's the body language and mannerism they already have.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@CrazyMusicLover so weird we have different feeds because mine is flooded with them haha.

I agree with you that clothes alone does not make someone more masculine or feminine but it certainly can portray it
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
I cannot say I have never not wore womens apparel. I was 14 and it was a for Comedy show. I dressed up as a Nun and mimed the words to a Sister Act song. Had dance moves too but I fell of the stage.. I won 1st prize
Torsten · 36-40, M
@Thevy29 sounds like a site to see for sure. Congrats on first prize
SW-User
Effeminate is so 🤮
Masculinity is not a thing of the past. There are still men who prefer that and embrace the expression of it.

Having said that, the representation of masculinity is evolving. People are not allowing themselves to be restricted to certain way of clothing, for example, to show their personal preferences.

Some claim to be straight, and maybe they are. But they prefer to wear women’s clothes or women’s accessories. Why they prefer that is not for us to understand, but we can be more accepting of their choices.

If you ask me though, I’d prefer my man not to wear my clothes. :)
Wallflow3r · 26-30, F
They come on here to express themselves because in real life it's not so easy but I do think it's really odd and can't help but giggle at them lol.

Torsten · 36-40, M
@wildbill83 what is hairies?
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
@Torsten bulgarians and other people with unibrows? 🤔
I'm not sure I met anyone on here who dresses as a woman. I'm not sure how I would know.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@CopperCicada I am surprised you have not seen any. My timeline is flooded with it haha
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@CopperCicada Online you will know if they tell you or show you, otherwise no. But it's much the same in real life, you will only know if you see them dressed fem. Most cross-dressers are not effeminate, though some wish they were more feminine, and most are straight.
MrAboo · 36-40, M
I don’t wear women's clothes and never have. Clothing isn’t really an appeal or fantasy to me.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
One or two does not constitute most.

@MasterLee if it was just one or two, I would never have wrote this thread

I remember EP had a lot of those.
I often wear a t-shirt and jeans. So do a lot of women. Does that count as women's clothing?

Um no? I mean aside from a few trans people and a few weirdo fetishists I don't think that's much of a thing.

It’s of no importance to me that men choose to wear women's clothing. If it makes them happy then they should.

I would find it an issue if my partner wore woman’s clothing because I wouldn’t find that attractive if he wore them.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@iamonfire696 a fair take to have indeed :)
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@Torsten thanks. I am pretty okay with letting people do as they like as long as it’s not illegal and doesn’t hurt anyone.
