Would you work a 10 hour job?

I worked four 10hr days, graveyard shift, while going to school and helping to raise a couple kids. It was challenging, but you take care of your family and do what you have to do. Typical to get benefits after 90 days though, 7 months is ridiculous. Hopefully have better job opportunities in your area.

I have long work days, even on days that aren't busy

You lost me at "pay is low". I've worked 14h before, but I got paid good enough to make sense of it.
