in the world of tech 10 years might as well be 100. by they it might still be called YouTube but it will be completely different

hard to say.
If you had asked me this ten years ago, I'd've said the same thing
What makes you think we'll even be here in 10 years?
Rainandforest · 22-25, F
@PhoenixPhail i wish all of us have long live to survive 10 years from now lol

Honestly with the way YouTube keeps screwing over it's own content creators, I don't see YouTube being around anymore in the next 10 years.

@IWasCallingYaLarry what did they do?
IWasCallingYaLarry · 26-30, M
@Rainandforest I mean just in general. Every few months, they keep coming up with guidelines that don't make any sense and just serve in screwing content creators over. The newest guidelines about not swearing for the first 8 seconds of a video, that's gonna apply to videos regardless of when they were uploaded. All their stupid new policies do that lately and so a video you may have made 10 years ago, now all of a sudden it's gonna have these brand new stupid guidelines that just were put in place onto it because Karen Wojcicki just now decided to do so. Eventually it's gonna just get to the point where nobody's allowed to even speak during a video or anything, where everybody has to just so silent videos, but wtf is the point in that?

It's more popular now, but imo it's not as good as it used to be before Google.
