I do not understand how to use Reddit

Idk how to really use it either. I like reading posts on there, but imo it's a weird interface to post on, etc.

Each sub-reddit has its own set of rules you have to be familiar with. It is a trial and error thing at first.

There's tons of rules and the people there are insufferable. I'd avoid it.

Basically each subreddit has rules. You'll either need a certain amount of time on the account of karma to be able to post. You'll have to adhere to the rules to enable a post to be visible too.

Some subs have ridiculous requirements... I don't bother with these... Most of the ones I belong have no particular restrictions other that the usual (no hate, no porn, no illegal stuff, etc.).

Depends on the subreddit. Some are more relaxed than others.

There is a probationary period on most threads before you can post. And, each thread has its own set of rules that you must follow.

Then you either haven't followed a certain rule or you need to wait a few days after making your account
