Who knows? Maybe she just got tired of waiting for you to make a move. Paranoia is sort of anxiety run amok so I can sort of relate to questioning everything so much nothing gets accomplished. Here's hoping nothing at all is wrong, that she was just taking a little time for herself and will be back chatting with you and you can start making plans for a future together.

That's paranoia, but it is possible that things are not like you think they are, if you never saw her ID etc. I really don't want to make you feel bad as somneone who have problems with paranoia, but in truth we don't know much about people we are engaged with online. I know it must be super hard to differentiate, so if I was you, I would stick to getting to know people IRL. Like it's really not helpful for you to meet people online.
