Are you familiar with Telegram?

I do remember when they were used. I went to the local railway station. and I saw the telegraph clicking away. The guy running the station ignored it so I guess that the clicking was for someone else.

Similar to WhatsApp but you don't need to share your phone number basically.

I had it and it was slowing down my IPAD so much I couldn’t use it till I removed the Telegram app. Before this happened I got a message asking if I would allow them to look inside of my account, which I refused. Had heard some other people warning against Telegram.

Well best I can say is it can be controversial! It can be used for many things. Some under the table! Dubai is the new Virgin llse!

I think you have to download an app. Beyond that i have no idea.

I was on it for a few months and it got to messing up my IPad to where I’d have to wipe the memory several times a day. I don’t know if it was having saved some of the material I read or what. Someone asked for permission to get into my account to read everything and I knew it was a bad sign so I deleted it.

That's where my apartment manager gets her news. As you can see from my top post, she entertains me with ludicrous conspiracy theories. It gets somewhat overwhelming as she takes nonsense theories at face value. I would avoid it.

It is an app. Go to the playstore. Download it. It would need your phone number but it is safe. In the settings, you can hide your number. It is a Dubai based app.

telegram is supposedly like wickr, signal, etc. and is used for 'encrypted' communications between trusted parties.

I don’t know much beyond it’s supposed to be really secure. My lawyer friend uses it within her law firm.
