I have never noticed as those that block are most likely over sensitive snowflakes, liberals or those from socialist countries like the UK, Canada or EU countries.

Not sure on how often. At least once recently by someone with whom I used to have very civil debates in her posts. I can imagine why but was certainly not for lack of respect on my side. My own list of blocked ones is still empty. Except may be, not sure, for a small bunch of requests I declined and that action seems to work like blocking.
not terribly often. I tend to stay in my own lane. the most recent was the guy on a blocking spree before leaving who'd 'block anyone who commented!' ... and I only signed up for that cuz I was tired of the little attention ho showing up in my recent comments.

Do u know why some have a white pic suddenly with a purple x in? And it says the user is "taking a break" does that mean that or that I am blocked.
