Ugh! Forgot to mention that the day after I stepped on a bumble bee and got stung on my right instep I did it again but this time it was my left big toe. Neither are painful but they are itching more now than when it happened. I inspected the sites before I got out of bed and they are slightly redder than the surrounding skin. It's quite annoying and made it harder to get to sleep last night.

Does anyone know how long this takes to fade away? Is there likely to be anything at the chemist that I can apply to reduce it?

Back in my room having a supper of red wine and strawberries after a soak in the bath to get warmed up after the damp and windy trip to Leven and Kirkcaldy. I think living in dry eastern Norway for such a long time has made me soft! 14 C back home is T-shirt weather but here with the wind and the damp it felt ten degrees colder.

Here are pictures of and from the beach at Leven

Looking north east along the prom

I walked out to the water and looked back at the prom

I wasn't the only one enjoying the beach

And as seen in my selfies there is an artwork on the seawall. Either quite recent or painted with weather resistant paint

This is what the weather does
