Each person blocks for different reasons.
If you're finding you get blocked, perhaps approached them in a way or indicating an intention that they don't like.
I confess that I've long ago decided not to engage with people who can't write with correct grammar. To me it indicates poor communication skills, at least in English, and hence no prospect of interesting or meaningful exchange. I have to say I learned it the hard way from many experiences.
