The difference between two social media site is stark.

When I post here, a lot of the time I get little to no response. When I post the same story/anecdote on an over 50's site I get 30 -50 responses. Maybe that is because us olds have more life experience, we have the ability to express those...

But is the other site also a dating site? I'm thinking that a lot of unattached middle-aged women consider you to be Just the Right Age. Worth a second look! Note that 50 is what I call middle-aged. I realize some misguided people start with that terminology in the 30s.

I wonder if it was the site I joined a while ago. It was great. Great [i]mature[/i] attitudes. BUT, too conservative. I wouldn't feel comfortable posting anything even remotely sensual. So I left.

I was told a long time ago that profiles are deleted after 3 months of not signing in. That does not seem to be the case now.
