I don't know if it'd be of any help but I was hooked on this pod ep of an interview of the famous TikTok star Bella Poarch & her traumatic upbringing. Its kinda long (2h). Idk if it'd be a good distraction since you asked for a chatting app. I found conversations like this very distracting & thought provoking but that might just be me. I can recommend true crime pods too, if you are interested.

But the sentiment is appreciated..

I mostly watch coffeehouse crime for my crime docs..

And yeah I don’t find YouTube to really help.. I prefer chats since they’re engaging.. with YouTube I’m just left burning out listening to myself overthinking when I get like this..
