Should this site have a "Worst Comment" button ?

🤔

That's basically the purpose of the downvote.

@SubstantialKick I guess I should have said award. Like what the poster of the question chooses to be when they choose "Best Comment"

What could possibly go wrong?
I think a good number would see it as a badge of honor and try to collect them. sw is case study in the theory that there's no thought, idea, or notion so good and plain as to not be twisted into something negative and repurposed.

@stound I think you might be right.
It would be severely abused.
@NoGamesTolerated just like downvoting is abused 😂
@BettyBeez exactly dearest

And then make it so that you can't edit or delete it anymore? 🤔

Isn’t that the down vote ?

ClassicRocker · 56-60, M
@smiler2012 so you don't think it might help curtail some of the creepy and/or hurtful replies some posters get ?
smiler2012 · 56-60
@ClassicRocker for that purpose you suggest it might be not be a bad idea
ClassicRocker · 56-60, M
@smiler2012 who knows 🤷‍♀️

Consider how useful it would be when the threads get awfully dark and negative. I think there are some comments so dark that they rise to the level of requiring mass adulation.
