I respect their decision but not for the same antagonistic reasons you do.
I respect it because they have considered whether it is something they want to do and have decided against it as they and their fans do not consider the queen to be something that Celtic have an affiliation with (can't think of a better word). That they have decided against it shows a willingness to stand up for their beliefs and not just do it as everybody else is doing it.
On a second point you have such a dislike of the British as a whole I would investigate your own ancestry before claiming the moral high ground.
