@Burnley123 Like I said (all along) Burnley was right to sack Dyche and we will probably stay up.

@SW-User It's quite possible. The new owner is a big believer in the passing game being the way forward. The interim coach has changed the tactics to move us higher up the pitch and keep the ball on the floor. Also the owners are into analytic recruitment. From that perspective, Europe offers much better value than the Championship (where Dyche likes to recruit).
It's likely the owners suggested Dyche did these things and he refused.
It's not over yet but Everton have a tough fixture list. One more win might do it and two definitely will.

Think the decision would have been taken after the Norwich defeat , the team looked flat and lacking ideas against a team below them , I admire Burnley and Sean Dyche for the tremendous achievements over the past nine years and hope they can somehow pull off a Great escape in the remaining eight games .

@skimpyboy TBF, the player recruitment under Alan Pace has improved.
Cone, Weghorst, Collins and Roberts have all been decent signings who improved the squad.
It's too little, too late though. Two good transfer windows can't compensate for doing nothing for the previous three years. It's an old squad, with obvious weak areas.

Always kept them safe on what would've been one of the lowest budgets in the league. A squad that's looking old and weak. Plus selling the biggest goal threat they had to what was a relegation rival at the time. Clearly completely reasonable for them to blame and sack Dyche

@thatscottishguy We didn't get a choice with Wood because Newcastle paid his release clause but yeah...
The league gets stronger every year and we've been getting weaker. He's kept us up in previous years against the odds but this time the odds are too steep.

It's a un-written rule when a club loses five out six games the Manager usually has to go - there's no sentiment in business Burnley now have plenty of time to sort out their new Manager in time for next season.

Im a city fan and i have to say he didn't deserve to get sacked. The things he has done for Burnley is incredible and he was there since 2012 so he deserves a good send off. And believe it or not i was working in a hospital in 2019 and i atcaully walked past Sean Dyche in the corridor. I was going to say hi but i didn't want to disturb him. But now i wish that i said hi. He was probably one of the best managers in the prem aswell. But as a coty fan i wish Burnley the best of luck and i hope you stay up and i hope Sean gets the goodbye he deserves.

@BlueFan2022 It's hard to say he was one of the best managers in the league. That's Klopp and Guardiola who are also the best in the world.
But yeah, for Burnley's level, there is nobody better than Dyche. The style of play is the only thing that stopped him from getting a much bigger job.
