Just an update ...
So about a month-and-a-half ago I posted a story telling you guys that I had kinda re-connected with my first girlfriend from almost ten years ago.
So, first, I was back home on Cape Cod because I had rented a small trailer and brought a lot of stuff home that I won't be needing for my last four months in Washington (summer stuff, boat stuff, etc). This was just a quick Saturday drive up to Massachusetts to unload and then drive back on Sunday.
So after my stop here, I was obviously in a great mood. How could anyone not be??? Just over an hour-and-a-half later I was home on the Cape and guess what?!?! Alex (my ex-gf from the story linked above) was there at my condo waiting for me. She had reached out to my uncle who was meeting me with keys to find out when I'd be getting there and was there waiting for me! Yes, she's sneaky like that! 😁
She helped me unpack and then we made plans for the night which included a nice dinner out, followed by dancing at her favorite club, and getting "re-acquainted" afterwards 😏 Yesterday morning we went out to breakfast and then I hit the road for the drive back to Washington.
I think I'm going to like moving back home in a few months. 😊

Well, I saw her again this weekend and things couldn't have gone better. So, first, I was back home on Cape Cod because I had rented a small trailer and brought a lot of stuff home that I won't be needing for my last four months in Washington (summer stuff, boat stuff, etc). Btw, on the way up I stopped at my favorite place in the world!
This is a little bit of New England's shoreline. I took these pictures on Saturday with no filter. This is exactly what it looked like:
If any of my New England friends can tell me where I took these, I'll send you your choice of any gift in the SW Gift shop!
