Material things don’t concern me anymore like

clothes. I think the older I get, the less I care about clothes. I only care that I have comfortable shoes.

I agree. As I get older, I’m more interested in good experiences - supper out with family, a day spent at a park together, biking somewhere new. I’ll take experiences over things any day.

Absolutely, I agree that’s more important. @Lumberjack70

@iamonfire696 I grew up poor as well. My father didn’t believe in allowance even when he had money. I do value my stuff except when I get mad and rip them 😕

@SW-User So you understand what it’s nice. I got $5 a week for hand washing the dishes every night, mowing the grass, vacuuming, keeping my room clean, etc.

That’s the only thing my parents taught me, the value of money.

When I get angry I want to smash stuff but I don’t.

I used to get a few dollars sometimes then I would go to this clothing store where I found cute clothes for like 2 dollars a piece. They were great clothes too. I was around 11-12. @iamonfire696
