I think comfort , fit, and whether you like what you wear is the important factor .
Mind you, in saying that, i think its silly to spend thousands of dollars on basic clothing just for ego like some people do .

@OogieBoogie i think so too...many of the t shirts and chinos i buy only cost 12 pounds, but i like the look of them and think they are comfortable to wear.

@Jungleman i go to second hand shops a lot .
Im picky , i like nice fabrics and well cut clothes.
And i dont like a lot of generic modern styles.
So i get to look for more unique pieces at a fraction of the cost .
And i dont contrubute to the fashion industries polution of the planet.
I know people look down on second hand stuff ....but i love it .
I adore my bohemian hipster witch, (as my daughter calls it), style .
Id hate to look like everybosy else .
I think if you can work it ....it works for you .🤗

I don’t know about wrong. I guess if I was playing devils advocate somebody might feel that the cheap clothes were enabling the exploitation of underpaid workers rather than buying more costly, but locally made wears.
(I’m not chiding you, only trying to fathom why someone might say it was ‘wrong’).
I think… it’s helpful to wear whatever serves the purpose of what you are trying to accomplish. 🤷🏻♀️ I personally am not trying to do anything with my life where an expensive aesthetic would be helpful, but some people are. 🤔. I do dress for the occasion though.
