Does anyone else have this problem?

I have been ordering stuff from Amazon for YEARS, and they have always brought it right to my door, no matter if I lived in a house, an apartment, or whatever. ALWAYS.

But lately, every single time I order anything from Amazon, they don't bring it to my door, they just leave a slip of paper in my mailbox that says "Delivery was attempted but unable to be delivered. Please pick up your package at the ______ Post Office". EVERY TIME!!!

It has been happening so often that my bf has been getting really mad, because we have to use our gas to drive all the way to the damned post office (it's not very close to us) to get the stuff I ordered.

Is anyone else having this happen?

they will also no longer take returns or reimburse you for any food items destroyed by their packaging or handling, getting very close to cancelling Prime

It may be due to crime in your area. What was once considered a safe practice of leaving a package outside a residence is now considered too risky. I had a neighbor in California have a box with soap in it delivered to his apartment and it was stolen by a random thief walking the streets. He made a sign for his door with instructions to not leave packages. Imagine if you ordered something worth a large sum of money and it was stolen soon after a delivery person left it outside your front door. You would be far more mad than you feel now about making trips to the post office where your items are kept in a secure location Amazon can trust.
Check around your location. Amazon has many secure drop-boxes and more are being installed every day. My closet one is within an easy walking distance (down on the corner at 7-11). Every time I order they now prompt "do you want this delivered or use a drop box."

I feel your pain, the PO is not really close to me and closes at 4:30

@MyMonstersAreReal I know! I spent a whole day searching for it because they kept saying it had been delivered. It wasn't until I took the trash out that I seen it under my car. I'm glad you were able to find yours!

I don't buy things online. Amazon is a purely greed-based corporation. They don't care about you. And they save money by having you make your own delivery.

We've had a few things like that, sweetie...

Mostly they do the knock on the door, you open, they shove the item in your face/have on your doorstep in one of those arggghhh-they-have-the-black-death kinda thing and have their little ipad out about 5 metres away from you to confirm...

Very odd...

Not here. You might check the post office to see if someone submitted a change of address or Amazon if there is an alert on your address ( fraud, theft, etc)

Update yuour instru tions on delivery ,ask for a phonecall they will ring then have it out with them
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@Banksy83 I already gave specific delivery instructions. They didn't abide by them.
No, that's strange. Have you called Amazon or USPS customer service?

I have this happen also but worse. I have no home delivery here from the postal service. Everyone has a po box # . Now sometimes Amazon says the item will not be delivered to a box#. And will not let you order with that address. So i normally put in my home address and they still sent it by post.it gets right to my post office and then gets sent back because it doesn't have a box # . Frustrating as fuck
