I wonder if a company like Voortman spends just as much money ...

... retooling their packaging procurement and production line to pack their cookies into new [i]smaller[/i] containers ([i]without[/i] any reduction in retail price) as they had expected to make by selling fewer cookies for the same price

What are the chances the previous bigger packaging will return at the older price once "inflation" is over?

Oh they won't ever be at the older price, but the whole "more per package" bogus bonus marketing will probably come back.
@Starcrossed I wish more people would balk at shrinkflation by companies, rather than just give in a pay more for less, and send these companies a clear message
