Yes and I can't say what it is for fear of reprisals....one day my best buddy told someone at school and everyone was calling me by my nickname....if it happened now-a-days, my parents would sue the district for bullying....or I'd bring a gun to school...but you know, in a couple of days it was over....lesson learned:don't trust your best buddy!!!!!

Not really, I've never liked nicknames. I find names hard enough to remember besides giving some people more than one: very confusing!

@Madeleine I know they're well-meant, of course, but can contribute to sensory overload for autistic folk. I'm more for giving children lovely names one enjoys calling them by anyway, though I guess it's all too late for me!
