Unfortunately in my daily life, in order to have an intelligent conversation, I often have no choice but to talk to myself. Perhaps that is why this site seems to interest me.

Don't let it bother you. I do the same. I haven't replaced my cockatiel yet, and when he was here, I used to say what I was doing. Like, "I'm going to put on my coat...and get the mail. I'll be right back." He would listen, I would come back inside and he would ask, "Mail?" like there was something for him, too. I catch myself doing it still now.
