@SW-User Thanks for the patience. I took your ALMOST in a different way. For a long time I've described myself as an agnostic who finds atheism a temptation; maybe close to being the same with someone who is hard to push!. I very much share your longing for a happy ending though - in every sense.

@alan20 For a very long time I identified as agnostic with atheism a temptation. I no longer identify so. It's all a personal journey, and we hopefully seek the path that leads us to our desired destination. Even with bumps and reversing and all that.

@SW-User In some fields there is no DEFINITIVE answer so if its keeping one awake at night, just think of things one enjoys - the sea at dusk, going on holiday to somewhere you like, memories that are happy, the way the cadenza of Khachaturian's Piano Concerto is hurled into the abyss and then screaming its defiance, soars up out of it, the sensual feel of the bed sheets :- I'm not an intellectual, but thrive on sensuality and emotion.
