I Am Not Who They Think I Am

Many times it's the ones that people think are okay that are actually in the most jeopardy. I have been there, myself, and recently watched my 14 year old crash and burn in a way I never expected. We (my son, me & his sibs) have been months in picking up the pieces, and it will probably a long time still before he is ready to face the world as he once did. I feel like a failure for not seeing it in my own child, but he hid it so well.

My heart goes out to you. If ever I could help you, I would try.
