It’s a clear and warm night, and we are sitting in the garden

We have been enjoying our evening meal with wine 🍷 and the desserts 🍨 were chocolate and delicious! My grandma has gone to bed but my grandpa is still with us and Chiara is sitting in his lap like I used to do.

Lots of the younger ones have been put to bed 🛌 and we are just sitting chatting about a variety of things, some distinctly Sicilian things, and yes, politics. There’s always plenty to debate on that subject, local and national.

We will take Chiara up to bed shortly.
