Anyone here from Germany?

And work in healthcare or studies maybe🥹

My friends little sister (in Gaza) dreams of becoming a doctor. Her dream is to study in Germany, and to then build a life there and work as a doctor. She's 17, they are displaced from their home, and the fact she's still holding on to this dream is so beautiful to me. We've spoken about it several times, and had a long conversation earlier (she's starting to lose a bit hope). So I told her I'll do some research for her to look at possibilities.

But I'm not from Germany, never wanted to move there either, so I don't know much about the country or foreign policies and stuff..

Any guidance?

It enjoys a pretty high standard of living and is a very advanced country and progressive (although starting to slip) country.

@JimboSaturn I wonder why the progressivism is beginning to slip? Could it be the many issues in Germany? Northwestern Europe is doomed.

@emiliya The rise of populism and neo fascism is on the rise world wide. They are still very environmentally minded but probably immigration is fueling most of it.
