Haven't used Facebook very often the last couple of years. I sometimes check my messages in the evening but not really intensively.
I check my Whatsapp regularly and a couple of other social media but that's it.

i don't use facebook for this very reason and never add family to anything other than WhatsApp and then they will be blocked if they get harassing,
