What do you think your life purpose is? How did you find out? Or not? [I'm a Good Listener]

Your life's purpose consists of the central motivation goals of your life - the reasons why you get up in the morning. Purpose can guide decisions in life, influence behavior, set goals, offer a sense of direction and create meaning. For some people, the purpose is linked to the vocation - meaningful and rewarding work. What is yours?

i think my purpose if to fight prejudice. i wont get into why I think that, but thats what I think. I guess ive kind of been slacking. I had an interracial marriage and had mixed kids so I kind of feel like i already did my part though I am sure I could do more. besides that my daily purpose is just to keep me happy and try to do what I can for those I love to make sure they are happy or at least well taken care of.

There is no right or wrong answer to this question. I appreciate all the answers and it is a great learning experience to be able to see different perspectives here and respect each one of them.

Writing. My dad was a professional writer (a dramatist) and I saw how much he enjoyed his work. I know that had a lot to do with my own literary dedication.

But the main reason I wanted to write had to do with the sheer misery of growing up with an extremely abusive mother. I felt alone, and quite isolated, in my suffering. Learning to read gave me a whole new outlook and cut through my loneliness and daily fear. Basically, books saved my life (I was suicidal as a kid). I felt I owed my life to literature and wanted to pay back the debt.

There is no purpose and seeking one or believing you've found one doesnt make you any less susceptible to perceived failure. The meaning of life is shrowded under the pursuit of "success".
Maybe to bring simple joy and peace to peoples lives 🙂💜

My main goal is to have a decent fighting career. My purpose is to do as much good as I can, for as many people as I can, in whatever time I have left.

@SW-User You seem like a very generous and sensible person. Thanks for answering.
